Political Prison Camp Inmate Numbers Increasing
Refugees living in the safety of South Korea and researchers have suggested that prison camps in North Korea are experiencing swelling inmate numbers, according to Associated Press.
The increase in numbers is said to be because of the clampdowns on border-crossing following the elevation of Kim Jong Eun to leader of the country.
Inmates are known to experience torture, food deprivation, and other human rights abuses in the camps.
